Dr. Duarte, completed a two-year full-time post doctoral fellowship training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Implant Dentistry at University of Miami, School of Medicine, Division or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Afterwards, Dr. Duarte furthered her training by completing an additional two years of full-time post-graduate advanced training in prosthodontic and restorative dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois.
Dr Duarte is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and Fellow in Dental Implantology. Dr. Duarte practices the full gamut of general, advanced, to major reconstructive dentistry, implant dentistry, and full scope periodontics as well as offering comprehensive dental anesthesiology and IV sedation services as part of her private practice.
Dr. Duarte is native of Colombia, receiving her University Doctor of Dental Surgery Dental School degree from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. Additionally, Dr. Duarte acquired her post-graduate residency specialization training certificate in periodontics at Javeriana University as well, totaling seven years.
She is bilingual fluent in English and Spanish, has published and co-authored several international research articles, spoken internationally as well as received multiple honors, and research recognition awards over the course of the years.
Dr. Duarte has been happily married for over 23 years and a mother of two children, residing in south Florida. Dr. Duarte is heavily involved as an active member of the community devoted to youth and adolescent growth and development activities.
